Your voice matters at every step

A legal issue is part of your life. It may affect your home, your work, your freedom, or your peace of mind. Before discussing a way forward, I want to understand what you are facing and what you hope to resolve.

First, I listen

We begin with a phone conversation. You do not need legal terminology or a written account. I explain what information I need and how we can discuss your concerns before you put details in writing or send documents.

I also speak Hebrew and Russian. You can speak with me in the language you feel most comfortable using.

Then, we talk it through

You should understand the advice you receive. We discuss your options, the questions that still need answers, and what each possible step could involve. I aim to explain the possibilities and the limits plainly.

Your questions belong in that conversation, including questions about costs and what representation would include.

We agree on the next step

If we decide to work together, we agree on the scope of representation, fees, and how we will communicate. Your circumstances and goals inform the plan. You should understand those terms before deciding to proceed.

I understand that people turn to OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Anthropic’s Claude to make sense of legal concerns. I use AI in my practice too.

When you are dealing with an unfamiliar legal issue, it can be hard to know which facts matter or which subtle distinctions could change the answer. An AI response may sound convincing while missing that context. That can leave you forming an opinion about your matter from an incomplete picture.

When we speak, tell me what you have learned so far and how you understand your situation. We can talk through the answers you received, identify what may be missing, and revisit any conclusions that need a closer look. I can help clarify what applies to your situation and explain where your understanding may need to change.

Your trust has to be earned

I practice law because I want to help people. I aim to earn your trust through careful listening, clear explanations, and honest conversations about the choices ahead. You should feel comfortable asking me to explain something again or raising a concern about the next step.

Start with a conversation

Your initial consultation is free. It is a chance to discuss your needs and whether I can help. Any representation and fees are agreed separately. Contacting me does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.

Please call before writing about your matter or sending documents. Written statements, including emails, may be discoverable depending on the circumstances.
